Davidson Academy Announces New Headmaster

NASHVILLE, TN – Wednesday, April 11, 2018: Davidson Academy announced today the hiring of Mr. Joseph (Joe) Bradley as its new Headmaster. Mr. Bradley comes to Davidson Academy after having served most recently as President and CEO at Phoenix Christian, in Phoenix, Arizona, and prior to that as the Head of School at Dominion Christian Schools in Marietta, Georgia.

Mr. Bradley has been involved in Christian education for 20 years and has spent extensive time in retail, marketing, public relations, and development. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and earned a master’s degree in Leadership of Educational Organizations from American Intercontinental University, in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Paul Hayes, Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, “We are truly excited Joe, and his wife Julie, have chosen to join our Davidson Academy family and call Middle Tennessee their home. We are confident we have found the right Christian, business, and academic leader to lead Davidson Academy as it continues to fulfill its mission of preparing students for college, life and eternity in a Christian environment devoted to pursuing excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics.”

Mr. Bradley said, “I am excited to join the Davidson Academy community, to build new relationships with our students, family, and surrounding communities, and to see it become all that God has planned for it. When I think of the opportunity ahead, I embrace God’s promise made in Jeremiah 33:3, ‘Call unto Me, and I will show you Great and Mighty things you do not know’.”

Joe and Julie will celebrate 35 years of marriage this May. They have three sons and six grandchildren.
