2017 AP Scholars Named
were named AP Scholars this summer by the CollegeBoard. These awards are based on the number of AP (Advanced Placement) exams taken and scores in 2017. AP courses are offered to students as an opportunity to potentially earn college credit.
Six students were recognized as AP Scholars with a score of 3 or higher on three or more exams: Brendon Hopkins, Woods Kuang, Brennan Saling, and Ethan Tressler (Class of 2017); and Julia Schumacher and Ciara Southard (Class of 2018).
Three students were named AP Scholars with Honor scoring a 3 or higher on four or more exams: Alexandra Chopson and Madi Rosenthal (Class of 2017) and Hannah Hagewood (Class of 2018).
Four students were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction scoring an average of at least 3.5 or higher on five or more exams: Talon David, Rachel Gregory, Nicollette Lyons, and Evan Wellbrock (Class of 2017).
