DECA Students Head to State

Despite being just their first year of existence, DA DECA students made their mark yesterday competing against more than 700 students from Middle Tennessee area high schools with high marks. They were the only independent school to compete against schools from Davidson, Sumner, Wilson, and Williamson counties.

Two students, senior Eli Breece and junior Ian Kane, placed first in their events. Others also qualifying for state competition are: Leslie Richardson, Blake Osborne, Obinna Eze, Jacob Moore, Mason Abbott, Alex Marzano, Maggie Stuhrenberg, Courtney Taylor, and Jacob Wasill.
